We are an independent fine jewelry house founded by a designer of East African heritage. Each design begins with personal lineage and cultural memory, then develops through historical research and documented symbolism. Our work focuses on preserving traditional visual languages by translating them into contemporary heirloom jewelry.

Amora Adera draws from Amharic (Ethiopian), evoking “bird” and “safekeeping.” In many ancient cultures, birds are seen as messengers, carriers of wisdom, and guardians between worlds. The name reflects a guiding idea: symbols entrusted to travel across time. Through contemporary heirloom jewelry, we are passionate about preserving ancient forms so they may continue to live, endure, and be worn into the future.

Each fine jewelry piece is designed by the founder, developed with our jewelry partner in Italy, and handcrafted by our master jeweler in Denver, Colorado, whose life’s work has centered on fine casting since adolescence. We use only responsibly sourced gemstones and diamonds, set in solid 18k gold or sterling silver.
